1. Press Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type ‘sysdm.cpl’ and click 'OK'.

3. Click 'Advanced' tab in the System Properties dialog box. 

4. Go to the 'Performance' section and click on 'Settings'.

5. Check the 'Data Execution Prevention' tab settings.

• Make sure the DEP edit box is empty.
• Select 'Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only' and click 'OK'.
